Mizoram is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Mizoram. The state has 1 parliamentary seats. The Mizoram seat comprises 40 Assembly segments including Hachhek, Dampa, Mamit, Tuirial, Kolasib, Serlui, Tuivawl, Chalfilh, Tawi, Aizawlnorth-i, Aizawlnorth-ii, Aizawlnorth-iii, Aizawleast-i, Aizawleastii, Aizawlwesti, Aizawlwestii, Aizawlwestiii, Aizawlsouthi, Aizawlsouthii, Aizawlsouth-iii, Lengteng, Tuichang, Champhainorth, Champhaisouth, Easttuipui, Serchhip, Tuikum, Hrangturzo, Southtuipui, Lungleinorth, Lungleieast, Lungleiwest, Lungleisouth, Thorang, Westtuipui, Tuichawng, Lawngtlaiwest, Lawngtlaieast, Saiha, Palak. The constituency is a ST seat. The MNF, the IND are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, C Lalrosanga from MNF won the seat with a margin of 8,140 votes. C Lalrosanga was polled 224,286 votes with a vote share of 45.00 % and defeated Lalnghinglova Hmar from IND who got 216,146 votes (43.20 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, C. L. Ruala from INC won the seat and was polled 210,485 votes with a vote share of 48.39%. IND candidate Robert Romawia Royte got 204,331 votes (46.99 %) and was the runner-up.C. L. Ruala defeated Robert Romawia Royte by a margin of 6,154 votes.
Lok Sabha Elections 2024: 49 constituencies are going for polls in the fifth phase on May 20. Voters in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will use their franchise in the fifth phase.
