Tamluk is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in West Bengal. The state has 42 parliamentary seats. The Tamluk seat comprises 7 Assembly segments including Tamluk, Panskurapurba, Moyna, Nandakumar, Mahisadal, Haldia, Nandigram. The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The AITC, the BJP are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Adhikari Dibyendu from AITC won the seat with a margin of 190,165 votes. Adhikari Dibyendu was polled 724,433 votes with a vote share of 50.00 % and defeated Sidharthashankar Naskar from BJP who got 534,268 votes (36.92 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Adhikari Suvendu from AITC won the seat and was polled 716,928 votes with a vote share of 53.57%. CPM candidate Sekh Ibrahim Ali got 470,447 votes (35.15 %) and was the runner-up.Adhikari Suvendu defeated Sekh Ibrahim Ali by a margin of 246,481 votes.
