The Junagadh seat comprises 7 Assembly segments including Junagadh, Visavadar, Mangrol, Somnath, Talala, Kodinar, Una. The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The BJP, the INC are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Chudasama Rajeshbhai Naranbhai from BJP won the seat with a margin of 150,211 votes. Chudasama Rajeshbhai Naranbhai was polled 547,744 votes with a vote share of 54.00 % and defeated Vansh Punjabhai Bhimabhai from INC who got 397,533 votes (39.47 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Chudasama Rajeshbhai Naranbhai from BJP won the seat and was polled 513,179 votes with a vote share of 54.46%. INC candidate Punjabhai Bhimabhai Vansh got 377,347 votes (40.05 %) and was the runner-up.Chudasama Rajeshbhai Naranbhai defeated Punjabhai Bhimabhai Vansh by a margin of 135,832 votes.
