Mandla is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh. The state has 29 parliamentary seats. The Mandla seat comprises 8 Assembly segments including Shahpura, Dindori, Bichhiya, Niwas, Mandla, Keolari, Lakhanadon, Gotegaon. The constituency is a ST seat. The BJP, the INC are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Faggan Singh Kulaste from BJP won the seat with a margin of 97,674 votes. Faggan Singh Kulaste was polled 737,266 votes with a vote share of 49.00 % and defeated Kamal Singh Maravi from INC who got 639,592 votes (42.14 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Faggan Singh Kulaste from BJP won the seat and was polled 585,720 votes with a vote share of 48.06%. INC candidate Omkar Singh Markam got 475,251 votes (39.00 %) and was the runner-up.Faggan Singh Kulaste defeated Omkar Singh Markam by a margin of 110,469 votes.

The Election Commission (EC) said after a record polling percentage in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar and Baramulla, the Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat too has "shattered" the voter-turnout record with 53 per cent voters exercising their franchise, the highest in 40 years.
