The Hingoli seat comprises 6 Assembly segments including Umarkhed, Kinwat, Hadgaon, Basmath, Kalamnuri, Hingoli. The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The SHS, the INC are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Hemant Patil from SHS won the seat with a margin of 277,856 votes. Hemant Patil was polled 586,312 votes with a vote share of 51.00 % and defeated Wankhede Subhashrao Bapurao from INC who got 308,456 votes (26.62 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Rajeev Shankarrao Satav from INC won the seat and was polled 467,397 votes with a vote share of 44.45%. SHS candidate Wankhede Subhash Bapurao got 465,765 votes (44.30 %) and was the runner-up.Rajeev Shankarrao Satav defeated Wankhede Subhash Bapurao by a margin of 1,632 votes.
