Ratlam is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh. The state has 29 parliamentary seats. The Ratlam seat comprises 8 Assembly segments including Alirajpur, Jobat, Jhabua, Thandla, Petlawad, Ratlamrural, Ratlamcity, Sailana. The constituency is a ST seat. The BJP, the INC are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Guman Singh Damor from BJP won the seat with a margin of 90,636 votes. Guman Singh Damor was polled 696,103 votes with a vote share of 50.00 % and defeated Kantilal Bhuria from INC who got 605,467 votes (43.21 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Dileepsingh Bhuria from BJP won the seat and was polled 545,980 votes with a vote share of 50.41%. INC candidate Kantilal Bhuria got 437,523 votes (40.40 %) and was the runner-up.Dileepsingh Bhuria defeated Kantilal Bhuria by a margin of 108,457 votes.
