Tiruppur is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Tamil Nadu. The state has 39 parliamentary seats. The Tiruppur seat comprises 6 Assembly segments including Perundurai, Bhavani, Anthiyur, Gobichettipalayam, Tiruppur(north), Tiruppur(south). The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The CPI, the ADMK are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Subbarayan, K. from CPI won the seat with a margin of 93,368 votes. Subbarayan, K. was polled 508,725 votes with a vote share of 45.00 % and defeated Anandan, M.s.m. from ADMK who got 415,357 votes (37.08 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, V.sathyabama from AIADMK won the seat and was polled 442,778 votes with a vote share of 42.14%. DMDK candidate N.dineshkumar got 263,463 votes (25.08 %) and was the runner-up.V.sathyabama defeated N.dineshkumar by a margin of 179,315 votes.
