Wardha is one of the Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra. The state has 48 parliamentary seats. The Wardha seat comprises 6 Assembly segments including Dhamamgaonrailway, Morshi, Arvi, Deoli, Hinganghat, Wardha. The constituency is a GENERAL seat. The BJP, the INC are the main parties in the constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Ramdas Chandrabhanji Tadas from BJP won the seat with a margin of 187,191 votes. Ramdas Chandrabhanji Tadas was polled 578,364 votes with a vote share of 54.00 % and defeated Charulata Rao Tokas from INC who got 391,173 votes (36.47 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Ramdas Chandrabhanji Tadas from BJP won the seat and was polled 537,518 votes with a vote share of 53.03%. INC candidate Meghe Sagar Dattatraya got 321,735 votes (31.74 %) and was the runner-up.Ramdas Chandrabhanji Tadas defeated Meghe Sagar Dattatraya by a margin of 215,783 votes.
Addressing a public meeting organised by the Congress in Delhi, Rahul Gandhi urged workers of his party and of the Aam Aadmi Party to work together and ensure victory for their alliance on all seven Lok Sabha seats in the national capital.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a poll rally in Palghar. Palghar Lok Sabha seat will go to polls in the fifth phase on May 20 along with other 12 seats of Maharashtra. It is the last phase of 2024 parliamentary elections in Maharashtra.
Mallikarjun Kharge said that their alliance is going to win more than 50 per cent of seats in Maharashtra, 7-8 seats in Rajasthan, and 5-6 seats in Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, we are winning 4-5 seats in Chhattisgarh and there is a 50-50 fight between them and NDA, he added.
The Election Commission has released the data of poll-time seizures between March 1 and May 18. It has also stated that the amount will soon cross Rs. 9000 crore mark. The unprecedent seizure is resulted by intelligence-based coordinated action, constant review and ESMS-enabled real time monitoring.
The Jhansi Lok Sabha constituency covers three assembly segments in Jhansi district -- Babina, Jhansi and Mauranipur (SC) and two in neighbouring Lalitpur district --Lalitpur and Mehroni (SC). The voting on the seat is slated for May 20 and the results will be declared on June 4.
