Sunil Baburao Mendhe was polled 650,243 votes with a vote share of 52.00 % and defeated Panchabudhe Nana Jairam from NCP who got 452,849 votes (36.33 %). In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Nanabhau Falgunrao Patole from BJP won the seat and was polled 606,129 votes with a vote share of 50.62%. NCP candidate Patel Praful Manoharbhai got 456,875 votes (38.16 %) and was the runner-up.Nanabhau Falgunrao Patole defeated Patel Praful Manoharbhai by a margin of 149,254 votes.
