Three smaller parties quit Maharashtra alliance over BJP-Shiv Sena deal
Upset with the few seats proposed for them in the Maharashtra assembly elections, three small parties walked out of the Mahayuti, or grand alliance, which was cobbled together by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections.
