Haridwar reported over 1,000 COVID-19 cases in just two days as lakhs took a dip in the Ganga on the second shahi snan on April 12. On the other hand Chief Minister TS Rawat stroked a controversy by saying, taking holy bath in river Ganga will not spread coronavirus.
