Ram Madhav’s clarification came amid speculation that the BJP and its partner, former secessionist Sajad Lone's Peoples Conference, were engineering a political coup in the PDP and get support of its rebel MLAs.
The BJP on Tuesday announced that it is walking out of the alliance with Mehbooba Mufti's People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir.
"Muscular policy can not work in Jammu and Kashmir. This is not enemy's territory," Mehbooba Mufti said after tendering her resignation.
Talking to media persons, Ram Madhav said that the saffron party was preparing its rank and file in Mizoram to face the upcoming polls and a massive election campaign would be launched from August, after the monsoon gets over.
"We will speak to our party legislature and also to the two ministers who have submitted their resignations," Madhav said.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which won 11 seats, holds the key to form the government. The saffron party’s ally Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) won 16 seats. The magic figure in Nagaland is 31.
The BJP on its own comfortably managed an absolute majority with its candidates won in 35 constituencies while its ally, the (IPFT), has wrested eight seats.
"We are happy with the trends so far in Tripura where the BJP looks like forming a government with 40 or more seats (in the 60-member assembly). Go for change was our slogan and the people have accepted our campaign," Madhav said.
Madhav, the national general secretary of the saffron party, added that the central government would soon be reaching out to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu to find a solution to the issues he has raised.
In the earlier "hyphenated foreign policy", Madhav said, Indian leaders had to keep in mind sentiments of other countries while meeting a leader of a particular nation.
