'We demand removal of VC': Sitaram Yechury joins protest against JNU violence

Communist Party of India (Marxist) general secretary Sitaram Yechury joined students and teachers who were protesting outside the Jawaharlal Nehru University against the violence that occurred in campus. He said that protesters have three demands. He said, "I'm here to show solidarity with JNU teachers and students. I condemn JNU Violence. If VC thinks he can silence students then it'll not happen. We demand removal of VC, identification of those who attacked students and also roll back of fee hike."
