The story revolves around Alia Bhatt's character Sehmat who gets married to a Pakistani officer played by Vicky only to become ears and eyes of India. The naive girl becomes an Indian spy on the order of her father played by Ranjit Kapur. There is love, betrayal and patriotism in the film.
