Dabangg 3, third instalment of the hit franchise Dabangg, starring Sonakshi Sinha and Salman Khan will go on floors in April. Salman and Sonakshi, who featured in previous two instalments will reprise their characters of inspector Chulbul Pandey and Rajjo respectively. On the other hand, South actor Sudeep will play the antagonist. The shooting of Dabangg 3 will start in Maheshwar, a town in the Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh.
Dabangg 3 will be shot over a time period of four months. After Maheshwar, the team will move to Maharashtra. A source told Mumbai Mirror that a song will also be shot in Jaipur. ''The team has also conducted a recce in Jaipur recently where a song was being planned, but a final call on that sequence is yet to be taken. Director Prabhudheva is currently busy with Street Dancer with Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in London. Once he returns to India in mid-March, the Dabangg 3 team will begin prep for the shoot,'' informed the source.
Before reuniting on the big screen, Salman and Sonakshi will perform in Dubai for the Da-Bangg dance tour. Salman is currently busy with Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, co-starring Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Tabu and Sunil Grover. Salman and Zafar are collaborating for the third time. Earlier the duo has given blockbusters like Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan. The last leg of the drama is being shot in Mumbai. On the other hand, Sonakshi is shooting for Shilpi Dasgupta's film along with Varun Sharma and rapper Badshah.
Meanwhile, producer Arbaaz Khan is hoping to release Dabangg 3 by the end of this year.
