People express joy as Indian soldiers rehearse ahead of 72nd Republic Day

Ahead of Republic Day parade, Indian soldiers carried out rehearsals in the national capital. The number of soldiers in the parade has been reduced this year in wake of COVID-19. Locals at the India Gate expressed joy after watching the live parade rehearsals for the first time. India will celebrate 72nd Republic Day on January 26. On this day, Indian Constitution came into effect in 1950.
