Greater Noida: Gaur City resident robbed, murdered; body found near Parthala Chowk

A man was robbed and murdered in Greater Noida West while he was returning home from his office in Gurgaon on Monday night. Gaurav Chandel, a resident of 5th avenue in Gaur City 1 - a residential complex in Greater Noida West, was travelling home in his recently-bought SUV when he contacted his family on reaching Parthala Chowk. However, Gaurav didn't return for another 30-40 minutes, raising an alarm. Gaurav's body was later recovered between the bridge connecting Parthala Chowk and Hindon River in the area. His car, mobile phone and his laptop bag were, however, not recovered from near his body.
