After 9 years, an El Clasico will be played without five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo. The rivalry is as fierce as before and the intensity will always remain the same, however, Real Madrid begin their new campaign without Zinedine Zidane and star striker Ronaldo. Barcelona will host Real Madrid in the first Clasico of the Spanish league, in the season calendar announced on Tuesday.
Barcelona will play Madrid at Camp Nou during Round 10 on the weekend of October 27-28.
Madrid will host their second meeting during Round 26 on the weekend of March 2-3.

With Ronaldo sporting the Juventus crest in the Italian League, the Messi-Ronaldo rivalry will surely be missed when two of the best players in the world would go head to head in a battle of pride and supremacy. The only possibility of the duo meeting is during a UEFA Champions League clash.
The Madrid capital derbies will be at Real's Santiago Bernabeu on the weekend of Sept. 29-30 and at Atletico Madrid's Wanda Metropolitano over February 9-10.
The season opens on the weekend of Aug. 18-19 and ends on May 18-19.
