New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan, the Nawab of Bollywood, turned 45 yesterday. The actor, who is busy promoting his movie ‘Phantom' which has him opposite Katrina Kaif, celebrated his birthday with family and close friends.
Mostly, we see Saif Ali Khan jetting off to places like London and Paris to spend time with wifey Kareena Kapoor on birthdays and anniversaries. This year, however, Saif's plans were different. According to what he told a leading daily, "I will be having a quiet family time on my birthday. I will spend it with my close friends and family. That's how I usually celebrate my birthdays."
The birthday boy, who doesn't look 45 years old, donned a purple and black check tee and denims. His wife Kareena chose a black and golden colored dress. The host couple invited their close friends from the industry including Malaika Arora Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Amrita Arora, Karisma Kapoor, Babita Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, and son Ibrahim.
However, Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore was not present. The celebs were seen in a joyous mood as reflected in their instagram accounts. Saif and Karisma, who romanced each other in 'Hum Saath Saath Hain', shared some memorable moments. Saif posted a kiss on Karisma's cheek at the party while posing for pictures.
