John Abraham, who plays the lead in upcoming Hindi remake of Tamil super hit ‘Khakha Khakha' being made by veteran Vipul Shah, suffered an acute muscle malfunction due to his exhaustive exercise regime and now doctors have asked him to keep away from gym for some time, says a media report.
The situation is grave and doctors have warned John Abraham avoid working out for some time if he did not want to suffer from some form of neurological damage.
In the meantime, Vipul Shah has postponed ‘Khakha Khakha' due to this as there was no way out of the situation.
In fact, it was for this Nishikant Kamat directed flick that John had been overstretching his body by heavy exercises for almost four hours everyday for the last one and half month.
The character, that John Abraham plays in the film, required him to have a great body and he had accepted the challenge and was trying to make a great body like never before for the flick.
Another problem with John Abraham was that he had been following two trainers during this period to satisfy the requirements of two different flicks. And the other flick was none other than Karan Johar's upcoming ‘Dostana 2', which required John to have a lean body to be able to play the role.
‘Dostana 2' will have once again the pair of John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan. However, this time female lead will be enacted by gorgeous Katrina Kaif instead of ravishing Priyanka Chopra.
The film has been set in London instead of New York and the shooting is likely to start after Katrina completes her Spain spell for Zoya Akhtar's upcoming ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'.
