TV starlet Radhika Madan who shot to fame with daily soap Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi is all set for her maiden Bollywood project. The diva will be directed by filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj in a film titled Chhuriyaan. It is a two-heroine project based on sibling rivalry.
Vishal wanted fresh and energetic faces for his story and that's the reason he chose Sanya and Radhika. The story is set in Rajasthan and the film will be completed in two extensive schedules. The second schedule will be shot in Mount Abu and the actresses have to put on 10-12 kg of weight.
The film narrates the story in two parts- their lives before marriage and post-marriage. The two newbies will also learn the art of milking buffalos, plaster walls with dung and walking with matkas filled with water around their waist and heads.
The actresses are preparing for their roles in a village of Ronsi, which is a three-hour drive from Jaipur. Talking about Sanya and Radhika, Vishal told Mumbai Mirror: ''Usually actors give directors a commitment, but when push comes to shove they get cold feet. But that doesn’t happen with newcomers who are ready for anything. I am looking forward to directing Sanya and Radhika because I can mould them according to my will, change their look and create something fresh.''
The shooting for the Chhuriyaan will begin by the end of this month.
