Rajasthan BJP MLA booked for allegedly raping woman on pretext of marriage

A woman has filed a rape case against Pratap Lal Gameti, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Rajasthan. Speaking on the matter, SP of Udaipur, Rajeev Pachar said, "A woman alleged yesterday that a man named 'Pratap Gameti' raped her on pretext of marriage. The preliminary medical examination has been done. Since the accused is currently an MLA (BJP), we've handed over the case to CID Crime Branch."
