Nikhil Panchamiya's romantic comedy for Four Wall Productions  Tum Milo Toh Sahi is a film about relationships in Mumbai, based on  three stories directed by Kabir Sadanand of a meeting of souls, a meeting of minds, and a meeting of hearts, each one underlining the belief that love is the driving force in our lives, irrespective of age.

Mumbai is the perfect backdrop for such stories given the demands and pressures of city life. But yet Tum Milo Toh Sahi which releases on Friday,  weaves together the lives of three couples who connect with each other through a series of touching and hilarious moments, sometimes just over a simple cup of coffee.

Leading the pack are Nana Patekar and Dimple Kapadia, he playing retired, cynical and acrid man who keeps people away from him, she a woman of the world smiling through her battles with demons of the past. Then there's Suniel Shetty and Vidya Malavade, one playing a successful corporate climber who's lost what he was fighting the world for, the other a professor vocal enough to express her open stance against society.

And Rehan Khan and Anjana Sukhani, a North Indian boy and Maharashtrian girl in their own quest of love and life's true calling.

Bombay Times put the cast to test with two questions on relationships. 1. How important are relationships to you? 2. Does Mumbai bring out the best in a relationship? This is how they fared...

NANA PATEKAR 1. Aajkal sab ‘main' ban gaya hai... ‘hum' sab bhool gaye hai... we must remember the importance of the people.

2. Yeh Mumbai meri nahin hai...Get up and smell the coffee of Tum Milo Toh Sahi.

DIMPLE KAPADIA 1. Relationships form the very core of our lives... nothing counts if you don't have people to share it with.

2. The pressures of life in Mumbai may make it more challenging... but where you are isn't really the factor that determines relationships.

SUNIEL SHETTY 1. Is there anything as nurturing or as rewarding as an honest relationship...

2. Mumbai is full of couples of all ages... all looking happy... they may have their set of issues to iron out, that's the demand of modern city life... but finally it all works out if you are ready to meet the other person at least halfway. Tum milo toh sahi...

VIDYA MALAVADE 1. Relationships tell me a lot about myself, and each one of mine has the ability to break my heart.

2. A rollercoaster like Mumbai makes the partners accommodate surprises and shocks often enough for them to become deeply connected and intimate.

REHAN KHAN 1. Relationships mean the world to me...

2. Any modern and demanding city life will take its toll on a relationship... at the same time, the cosmopolitan aspect can make adjustments and acceptance so much more a fabric of existence that can make the bond stronger.

ANJANA SUKHANI 1. I could achieve the utmost success, but it would be useless if I didn't have anyone to share it with.

2. Mumbai gives you the freedom to be what you want and do what you want, the city's a great place for love!
