Badhaai Ho Box office Collection: Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra film crosses 200 crore milestone worldwide

After crossing the 100 crores milestone, Ayushmann Khurranna and Sanya Malhotra’s film Badhaai Ho has hit the double century i.e. 200 crores on the International box office. It is just purely raining number for the Amit Sharma directorial and good word of mouth has made it unstoppable everywhere. Even after a big release, Thugs Of Hindostan, the film managed to take away all the limelight and emerged as the clear winner.

Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Instagram to share the latest numbers of Badhaai Ho. The film is also doing gloriously well on the Indian box office as well. Taran Adarsh wrote, “‪#BadhaaiHo is truly UNSTOPPABLE... Fifth Tue records better biz than fifth Mon, which says it all... [Week 5] Fri 95 lakhs, Sat 1.60 cr, Sun 2.15 cr, Mon 70 lakhs, Tue 80 lakhs. Total: ₹ 126.60 cr. India biz.‬”

Badhaai Ho not just managed to impress the critic and viewers, but megastar Amitabh Bachchan was also head over heels about the brilliant performances in the film. He even wrote a personalised note to veteran actress Neena Gupta after watching her film. The actress shared the picture and captioned it as: "Aapse ye patr aur pushp paake ankhen khushi se bhar aain. Thank you so much, Amitabh Bachchan sir. (Got tears in my eyes after receiving this letter and flowers from you. Thank you Amitabh Bachchan sir." In the letter, Big B, 76, praised the film and the acting by the entire cast. He said he got tears of joy after watching it.

Badhaai Ho is the story of a middle-class family based in Delhi that is embarrassed with an accidental pregnancy in the house. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta and Surekha Sikri in the lead roles, the film was applauded by film critics for its quirky content and dazzling performances. The word of mouth, too, was totally in the favour of the film, that immensely helped its performance at the box-office.
