Zodintluanga Ralte is the Congress leader and the current Mizoram Assembly member from the Thorang constituency. He served as the Cabinet Minister in the Lal Thanhawla Ministry from 2008 to 2018 and also the Leader of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) in the Mizoram Legislative Assembly. In the 2018 Mizoram Assembly Election, Ralte won the Thorang constituency by defeating Mizo National Front (MNF) candidate R Rohmingliana with a margin of 1,273 votes. In the 2013 Mizoram Assembly Election, Ralte defeated MNF candidate Joseph Lalzawmliana by 2,504 votes. In the 2008 Mizoram Assembly polls, Zodintluanga Ralte won the seat by 1,829 votes against his nearest rival Lalnuntluanga Sailo of MNF. Zodintluanga represented the Buarpui constituency in 2003. He lost the Aizawl West I seat in 1998. He is again contesting the upcoming Mizoram Assembly Election 2023 against R Rohmingliana of MNF and Zoram People's Movement's (ZPM) C Lalnunnema.
