Kaithal (Haryana): Haryana chief minister Bhupender Singh Hooda today angrily announced that he will never share dais with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in any function in future.

The reason for this sharp reaction was a terrible hooting Hooda had to face in a rally in Kaithal where Prime Minister Narendra Modi had come to lay the foundation stone of a highway project.

The crowd assembled there shouted slogans, booed, jeered and hooted Hooda as he was addressing the gathering including the prime minister, the minister for road transport & highways Nitin Gadkari , the Haryana governor Kaptan Singh Solanki and many other BJP leaders.

It seems the crowd wanted to hear Modi only as they kept shouting ‘ Modi, Modi ` even as Hooda was speaking. The function was officially organized by the national highway authority of India .

Hooda later accused BJP of  turning an official function into a party event. He said he was invited to a government function but not allowed to speak.

Expressing anger at the humiliation , Hooda said he will not attend any function which Narendra Modi will be a part of nor will share stage with him.

Haryana will be going to assembly polls most probably in the month of October is among the states that have to face assembly elections later this year and the mood of the people is apparently not in favour of the congress government there.
