S. Chandrasekhar, a 24-year-old Mahindra Satyam employee was found murdered and his body stuffed in a sack near the municipal ward office at Karwan on Tuesday, reports The Times of India.

A native of Mahbubabad in Warangal district, Chandrasekhar had married Anusha last year. The couple had been staying at Bhagawandas Bagh in Tallagadda near Mehdipatnam.

According to his wife, on Monday night  two persons came to their home at dinner time. Chandrasekhar introduced the duo as his friends to Anusha. After finishing dinner, he told her that he was going to Basara with his friends and would return on Tuesday, police said.

Chandrasekhar has been missing since then.  On Tuesday morning, Anusha noticed a flash on a news channel about an unidentified body. After seeing the flash, she became apprehensive and tried to call on Chandrasekhar's cellphone, but it was switched off. She then went to the Tapachabutra police station complaining that her husband was missing. Police showed her the photographs of the body and she identified it as her husband's.

Police says, Chandrasekhar's face bore several bruises and was found strangled with a wire. Locals noticed blood stains on the sack and alerted police at about 7 am on Tuesday.

Anusha told police that she had seen these ‘friends' of her husband for the first time. Chandrasekhar's phone remained switched off and police said that the last call on the phone landed at 9.30 pm on Monday, an hour before he left home. Police are verifying all call details.

What had intrigued the cops is the fact the phone was switched off even before Chandrashekhar had left his home.
