Sanjay Leela Bhasali's Padmavati featuring actors Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor was all set to hit the screens on December 1.

The trailer of one of the anticipated films of the year, Padmavati is here and it is a treat to all cinema lovers. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali once again paints a canvas with his larger than life vision. The film has the bunch of some talented actors like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, who has surely given their best performances till date in the film.

Deepika will be seen played the role of Queen Padmini in the film. Shahid essays the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh whereas Ranveer will be seen in the role of Sultan Alauddin Khilji. The recently released posters of the film left movie buffs in anticipation. Now, the trailer has sky rocketed the expectations. Well, December literally seems far now.

The trailer starts with Deepika heavily loaded with jewellery walking elegantly. It then showcased the love story of Rani Padmini and Maharawal Ratan Singh. But, the trailer reached to some another level when Ranveer entered the frame. He looked deadly as Alauddin and will surely give you goosebumps. At the end Deepika is heard saying, "Rajputi kangan mein utni hi takat hoti hai jitni rajputi talwar mein."

On a related note, Padmavati is all set to hit the screens on December 1.
