Kangana Ranaut is having a hectic schedule during shooting of her ambitious project Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. While we are all swooning over her regal looks in viral pictures, the actress was secretly hoping to get injured and angana got injured not only once but twice. After getting injured during a sword-fighting scene and getting 15 stitches on forehead, the actress once again injured herself during an action scene. Kangana who is essaying the role of freedom fighter, Rani Laxmi Bai injured her right leg badly.
However the injury came as a blessing in disguise and Kangana is happy as she finally got a break after gruelling schedule of 60 days. The National Award-winning actor was trying to save her on-screen son from injury when she got hurt. While speaking to mid-day, the Tanu Weds Manu actress said, ''It has been 60 days of action so far and after non-stop 30 nights of fighting armies with a baby hanging to my back, I was secretly hoping that I get hurt so that I could go back and hide in my house for some time''.
Kangana is back to Mumbai from Jaipur and has been advised bed rest. The new masi will also get some time to spend with her newborn nephew, Prithvi Raj Chandel.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is being helmed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain. The movie which is slated to release in April 2018 also features TV actress Ankita Lokhande and Deepika Padukone's ex Nihaar Pandya
