Tubelight is Salman Khan starrer family drama, directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Salman Khan himself. Filmed in the background of Sino-Indian war, the film manages to get mixed reviews from both critics and audience. It released in India on 23rd June and managed to get only 50% occupancy on its first day. The box office graph of the film is expected to witness a surge post Monday, as people who be indulging in some fun activities like movies during the Eid celebrations. The second day collection of Tubelight and the numbers haven’t staggered a bit despite being a weekend.

Bollywood film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted the second day collection of Kabir Khan directorial Tubelight. On Saturday, the film managed to rake in Rs. 21 crore just like its opening day. This makes the Salman Khan starrer film hit the 40-crore mark in two days. Not only this, Tubelight has also secured a place for itself in Top 5 openers of year 2017, which also includes Baahubali 2, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Raees and Jolly LLB 2. Speculations are being made that the flick will easily hit the 100-crore mark in one week, owing to the fan following of superstar Salman Khan. People are also eager to see Salman Khan-Shah Rukh Khan camaraderie on screen. Shah Rukh Khan has done a cameo in Kabir Khan’s Tubelight, which mustered a lot of popularity even before the release.
Will Tubelight live up to the expectations?
As Salman Khan is one of the most loved Bollywood actors of all time, fans have been expecting humongously from Kabir Khan's Tubelight.
