The development comes a few days after the Income Tax department carried out raids at locations linked to State Electricity Minister V Senthil Balaji.
These raids are part of the ongoing investigation being carried out into the terror funding case by the agency.
As per sources, the raids are going on around 40 locations at residences and offices across Tamil Nadu of various Government contractors who have alleged links with the minister.

The raids were conducted at the residences and offices of Jet Airways founder Naresh Goyal, his wife Anita Goyal and former company director Gaurang Anand Shetty.

NIA raids in J&K: As per information, NIA teams are conducting raids in the Wachi area of Shopian, Nehama and Litter area of Pulwama district and the Fresal area of Kulgam district and one team had reached Achawal area of Anantnag district where the raid is yet to start.
