The 123rd edition of the French Open is underway at the nation's capital in Paris as the best players around the world look to display their impact on the clay-court tournament. The tournament's big wigs are in action with all eyes on them for the second Grand Slam of the year.

While Rafael Nadal (knocked out), Novak Djokovic, Iga Swiatek and Daniil Medvedev, among others pull the eyes of the spectators, Indian fans would also want their stars to shine at the Roland Garros. Here are the Indian players featuring at the French Open 2024:

Sumit Nagal: After five years an Indian featured in the Singles event of the French Open. Nagal, who went down to Russia's Karen Khachanov in the first round on Monday, was the first Indian after Prajnesh Gunneswaran (2019) to participate in the Men's Singles of the Roland Garros. However, his challenge is over as he has been knocked out now.

Rohan Bopanna: Indian legend Bopanna is also featuring in the tournament in the men's doubles and mixed doubles category. He will partner with his Aussie partner Matthew Ebden in the tournament. The duo are seeded second in the competition and are among the favourites to win the title.

Bopanna will also have a partnership with Russia's Veronika Kudermetova in the mixed doubles. The duo are unseeded in this category.

Notably, Bopanna is World No.4 in the men's doubles category. He became the No.1 doubles player in January this year, becoming the oldest player in the world to rank No.1 at 43 years of age.

Yuki Bhambri: Indian star Yuki Bhambri will also be in action at the Roland Garros. The 31-year-old Indian will be pairing France's Albano Olivetti in the men's doubles. The two will face Roman Safiullin and John Peers in the opening round of the doubles event.

Bhambri has achieved his career-best ATP rankings in the doubles as he is now ranked World No.52. He made a two-place jump in the latest rankings. Bhambri is the second-best Indian in men's doubles.
