In a major move, the government on Wednesday blocked 118 mobile apps including popular game PUBG Mobile citing these were prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, Defence of India, Security of State and Public Order.
PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik, PUBG MOBILE LITE, WeChat Work and WeChat reading, Baidu are among 118 Chinese mobile apps banned by the Ministry of Information & Technology on Wednesday.
The Indian government has decided to ban 47 Chinese 'clone' apps including SHAREit Lite and TikTok Lite. The apps have been banned in the country because of violations of user privacy and national security norms.
