Lawyers and police clashed at Tis Hazari Court complex here on Saturday afternoon during which at least 10 police personnel and several lawyers were injured while 17 vehicles vandalised, according to officials and eyewitnesses.
A major scuffle has broken out between police personnel and advocates at Tis Hazari Court. A police vehicle has been set afire and eight other vehicles have been vandalised. It is being reported that the scuffle started over parking space.
An incident of firing has also taken place during the scuffle between Delhi Police and lawyers at Tis Hazari Court
The strike call was given by Jammu chapter of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA) on Friday, also opposing the proposal to shift the high court from its present location at Janipur to the outskirts of the city
