Vivo announces its new mid-range smartphone called the Vivo U1 in the new ‘U series’ in China. The phone gets a 6.2-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio waterdrop notch display and is powered by a Snapdragon 439 processor with 12nm architecture. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Funtouch OS 4.5 and comes with 4GB RAM.
Vivo U1 specifications
The Vivo U1 comes with a 6.22 inch 19:9 FullView 2.5D curved glass display with 1520x720 pixels. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 439 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU and gets 3GB RAM with 32GB storage along with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage that can be expanded using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) based on Funtouch OS 4.5 and gets dual SIM technology.
It gets a 12 Megapixel camera with LED flash along with a 2 Megapixel secondary camera, while on the front is an 8 Megapixel front-facing camera. The phone measures 155.1 × 75.09 × 8.28mm in dimensions and gets a fingerprint sensor placed at the back. The phone weighs 163.5g and houses a 4030mAh built-in battery. Other connectivity options of the phone include Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and GPS.
Vivo U1 price
The Vivo U1 is on sale in China and is priced at 799 yuan (Rs 8,430 approx.) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version and 1199 yuan (Rs 12,645 approx.) for the 4GB RAM/64GB variant. The Vivo U1 is available in Midnight Black, Purple and Aurora Red colour options.
