Rajat Sharma Rajat Sharma DOB: 18 February 1957

India's most popular news anchor Rajat Sharma is the Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of the nation's top Hindi news channel India TV. His courtroom show Aap Ki Adalat draws millions of viewers on weekends. He also hosts the popular 9 pm prime time news show, Aaj Ki Baat, on weeknights. He has been a familiar face on TV for over two decades and was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in 2015 in recognition of his service in the field of literature and education. Before joining television, he was the Editor of Onlooker, Sunday Observer and The Daily. Currently, he is the President of News Broadcasters Association (NBA) and Vice President, Strategic Affairs of The Indian Broadcasting Foundation.
