TS Raghvendra breathed his last at the age of 75
Veteran actor, singer and playback singer TS Raghvendra is no more. TS Raghvendra who was fondly knows had Raghvendra among his friends and fraternity member breathed his on January 29 night at the age of 75. His mortal remains were kept at his K.K. Nagar residence in Chennai before the last rites were performed today at around 2 PM.
He is survived by his wife Sulochana and two daughters Kalpana and Shekhinah Shawan who are also singers. Film lovers from across the spectrum have been offering their condolences on his death.
Raghvendra rose to fame by playing actress Revathi's father in Vaidehi Kathirunthal. TS Raghavendra mainly worked in Tamil cinemas. He was last seen in the Tamil film Pon Megalai, which released in the year 2005.
Apart from acting and singing films TS Raghavendra occasionally composed music. He had rendered his tunes in Tamil films namely Yaaga Saalai, Uyir, and Padikatha Paadam.
