Ranbir Kapoor is in Berlin for a schedule of "Brahmastra". The film's director Ayan Mukerji shared a video of the actor's "Shiva sessions" - his prep for his role in the fantasy adventure - and actress Alia Bhatt could be seen making a video on her phone. "Shiva Sessions. Last Saturday, Berlin. Prep work for our next shooting schedule is on... and once again, our path led us to one of our most special collaborators on this journey - Ido Portal. (Mre on his role in helping Ranbir build his performance in another post...) For now, some random moments from our weekend brainstorming session with Ido," Ayan captioned the post. In the short video, Ranbir can be seen interacting with another person while Alia stands in one corner and records it on her phone.
Brahmastra is certainly one of the highest awaited films of the year 2019. Starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles, fans are excited about Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious project since it marks the first collaboration between the real-life couple Alia and Ranbir. A few days ago, director Ayan Mukerji shared a picture along with Alia Bhatt, Pritam and team Brahmastra from the airport at London, all that the fans have been wondering are where is Ranbir Kapoor after all. While that is there, they all were all smiles for the happy picture and though Ranbir is being missed from the frame. "Adventure (of a Lifetime) #uptonogood #londondiaries #brahmastra", wrote Ayan Mukerji while posting the lovely picture on Instagram.
Last year while talking about his project, Ayan Mukerji said, “It’s a modern-day film set in India as it exists today. But the reason it’s called Brahmastra is because the energies, wisdom, powers in the film come from ancient India. That’s all I would say. There are some costumes, may be not the way you’d expect them to be.”
"Brahmastra" is a fantasy trilogy in which Ranbir will be seen playing Shiva while Alia will be seen playing a character called Isha. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan. This will be the first time the three will be seen sharing screen space together.
