Kumbhalgarh (Rajasthan): A leopard has been trapped since the last three days inside a dry well in Dabkudia village of Kumbhalgarh in Rajasthan's Rajsamand district, but forest officials are unable to rescue the animal.

An expert Padam Singh was called in from Udaipur.

He threw the lasso five times at the animal, but failed to catch hold of the leopard.

Wildlife officials have inserted a wooden staircase inside the well to help the leopard come out to safety.

A cage has also been inserted in the well, but the animal is yet to be rescued.
