Though travelers need no reason to escape but summers are, indeed, a good excuse to pack the bags and move towards a hill station. A break from daily schedule is all that is required to beat the scorching heat and return relaxed and rejuvenated.

1. Ladakh

Ladakh, the magical land of lamas, is the top tourist destination in India during the summer season. A visit here will bring out the hidden poet, photographer, thinker and writer inside you; such is the beauty of the place. 

The mesmerizing view of the burnished mountainous terrain, snow-capped mountains, sparse vegetation, the emerald Pangong Tso, Tso Kar and Tso Moriri, Hunder, and magnificent monasteries will make you fall in love with the ‘mini-Tibet' of India.

Pachmarchi, a hill station in Madhya Pradesh, is one of the perfect destination to spend a serene vacation in the lap of nature. Blessed with beautiful scenery, the hill retreat is visited by tourist all around the year. 

Some of the renowned tourist attractions here include Bee Fall, Gupt Mahadev, Rajat Prapat, Dhoot Akhilesh, Dhupgarh, Handi Khoh, Apsara Falls and Chauragarh. 

Another attraction is the thick forests in Mahadeo Hill, which houses a number of cave shelters, pure man-made wonders, which are probably 10,000 years old.
