The Lakme Fashion Week 2016 is going on in full swing. The second day of the event saw actor Sushant Singh Rajput walking the ramp for ace designer Manish Malhotra.

It was the first time that Sushant has walked the ramp for Manish has feels honoured this time.

However, he did confess that he was no just excited about this but was nervous as well.

“I was very excited, but was nervous to walk the ramp. I have got many firsts in my life and one of them was walking for Manish Malhotra”, Sushant said.

“I asked Manish, what goes through a model’s mind before walking the ramp. He asked me to be myself. It was an honour to walk for someone like him,” he added.

Dressed in black bandhgala and white bottoms, Sushant looked dapper and confident on ramp. He was accompanied by Shraddha Kapoor, who too looked elegant in Manish’s ethnic wear collection.

Manish’s menswear was one of the best parts of his collection. The line had royal and elegant touch to it. With bandhgalas, jackets, kurta, bandi and dupatta’s dominating the line.

While his women’s collection featured jacket-saris; lehengas paired with sheer crop blouses and draped dupattas on contemporary Anarkali, elaborately detailed long tunics worn over cigarette pants and majestic and flowing backless gowns. Manish showcased resham threadwork, clustered sequins and intricate hand embroidery on dramatic trails and off-shoulder capes, alongside floral motifs.

Heavy but subtle embroidery added a touch of glitter to the festive wear.
