As assembly polls near for 234 seats in Tamil Nadu, political leaders have intensified campaign to appeal voters.
Ahead of the upcoming state assembly elections, BJP leader Khushbu Sundar filed nomination from Thousand Lights assembly constituency on March 18. Before filing the nomination she also held a rally in the city. Tamil Nadu will go to polls on April 06. Counting of votes will be held on May 02.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda held meeting with party workers and leaders in Tamil Nadu's Madurai on January 30. His three-day visit to Tamil Nadu and Puducherry started on January 29, in view of the upcoming assembly elections in both the states.
