Bihar opposition leaders on Wednesday took a dig at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar after the collapse of the Sattarghat bridge on Gandak River in Gopalganj district.
Within 1 month of its inauguration, a bridge in Bihar's Gopalganj got completely washed away. The bridge and its approach road were inaugurated by CM Nitish Kumar on June 16. The entire project was constructed at a cost of Rs 263 crores.
A newly constructed bridge in Gujarat's Junagarh District gave way on Sunday injuring a few people. The bridge was built only a few years ago. As the bridge collapsed it took down four cars along with it as well.
The bridge which connects the area near the Times of India building with the iconic CSMT station, commonly knwon as 'Kasab bridge' collapsed on Thursday evening.
