In a shocking incident, a Class XII student shot dead his school principle in Haryana today.
The student was infuriated after he was rusticated from the Yamunanagar-based school by the principal four days ago.
The Class XII student was carrying .32 bore gun when he arrived in the school today.
He entered the office of principle Ritu Chhabra and fired four shots at her.
The principal was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
According to reports, five members of the school staff, including a peon, caught hold of the student.
Yamunanagar SP Rajesh Kalia said the youth was detained and an investigation was underway.
