WWE Champion Jinder Mahal invites Sachin Tendulkar for live wrestling event in December

The Indo-Canadian wrestler was left starstruck when he met his cricket idol, Sachin Tendulkar.

WWE's modern-day Maharaja and current champion Jinder Mahal personally met India's master blaster Sachin Tendulkar and his son Arjun Tendulkar for a live event which will be held in New Delhi on December 8. The Indo-Canadian wrestler was left starstruck when he met his cricket idol, Sachin Tendulkar.

Tendulkar took to Twitter to thank the WWE champion for his invitation at a live event. 

Arjun is known to be a huge WWE fan and the Champion has been promoting the events stopped by to invite Tendulkar and his son for a wrestling event at the Indra Gandhi Indoor International Stadium. Tendulkar was seen posing alongside Jinder Mahal and his merchandise which consisted of a T-Shirt of the 'Modern-Day Maharaja'.

Many other WWE superstars such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose (The Shield), Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks and more to headline the event in New Delhi.

WWE has a strong fan following in India for a long time ever since 'The Great Khali' debut back in 2006. 

It was during Raksha-Bandhan when the Indian cricket skipper, Virat Kohli met The Great Khali. (Read here). WWE superstar Triple H visited India a few weeks ago and spoke about India as a booming industry to bring in Indian athletes in the ring. (Read here about Triple H's visit). 

It is sure to say, that the Master Blaster and his son will be present at the WWE live event in New Delhi on December 8.
