Viral video: A Pakistani man shared the video of him trying to pet a cheetah and was attacked by the animal in the process. The video of the same went viral after which the content creator was slammed online by the users. Nouman Hassan often posts videos of several wild animals as pets, including tigers, snakes and crocodiles.

What’s there in the viral video?

In the latest video, he was sitting on a sofa with another man and the cheetah was sitting beside him. The cheetah scratched him all of a sudden as Niuman started petting its head. The man had to walk away.

Sharing the video on Instagram, he captioned it as “Cheetah attack”.

Nouman frequently faces criticism on social media for petting wild animals, with many users labelling it as "cruel." One user echoed this sentiment in response to a recent video, commenting, "So cruel for this beautiful animal. It should be in its natural environment. Just so cruel."

Many others echoed the sentiment that wild animals should remain in their natural habitats. One comment read, “Why are they allowed to keep these animals locked up? They deserve to be attacked.”

“The cheapest people in the world are those who keep WILDLIFE as house pets. Money can’t buy class or morals,” another said.
