Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also attended the event. Before reaching the temple, the two leaders paid their respects at the Hanumangarhi Temple, a major place of worship in the holy city. Later, Singh prayed before the idol of Ram Lalla at the Ram Temple.
Following the Babri Mosque foundation in Murshidabad, a Kolkata-based group has announced plans to build a Ram Temple with the foundation ceremony scheduled on Ram Navami. Convenor Sanjay Pyara has clarified that the project has no political involvement.

Ayodhya: The upcoming flag hoisting event signifies a major step in the transformation of New Ayodhya, as envisioned under the Ayodhya Master Plan 2031 and Vision 2047. Under the guidance of CM Yogi Adityanath, the city is being developed into what is planned as the world's largest spiritual city.
Ayodhya is being decorated with saffron flags, flowers and lights ahead of the event. The Tourism and Culture Department will host cultural programmes from 21 to 25 November, including Ram Katha narrations, devotional music, classical dances and folk performances.

These adjustments to the darshan timings were implemented to accommodate the winter season, according to a directive issued by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, issued by trustee Anil Mishra.

Nripendra Mishra, Chairman of the temple construction committee, said the statue of a squirrel has been placed at the Ram Janmabhoomi site in Ayodhya, recognising its symbolic role in the epic Ramayana as the temple nears completion.
The Yogi Adityanath government has undertaken several ambitious projects to establish Ayodhya on the global tourism map.
With the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, the Ram Temple complex gets 8 new temples, each dedicated to a deity. This also marks the completion of the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
