Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has appealed to people to maintain communal harmony in view of the Ayodhya dispute site title case verdict expected on September 24.

“I have always said that we should maintain communal harmony in the country. The beauty of our country is that there are so many religions, not just in states and regions, but also in families like mine. When you talk to people, you find out…a Christian is married to a Hindu is married to a Muslim is married to a Sikh is married to a Parsi. There are so many religions, cultures, languages and these are our assets. We should combine them all together, respect each other's religious beliefs and not get factionalized or broken down  by not respecting each other's beliefs”, the superstar said in Gurgaon on Sunday.

Although his acting has earned him global recognition, it's wife Gauri's acting that he's going gaga over, these days.

The actor, who did a décor ad with her recently, says, “It was very sweet of her to do the ad.Acting is a difficult job. You really need to hone your work. She did a very professional job of hanging on the sets for 10 hours a day. I have also got calls saying she looks very pretty, and I am very happy for her. I was worried that she should not feel disappointed because she is not a professional actor. My kids also really liked her.“

The actor, who said earlier that he would want to watch Salman Khan's Dabangg, admits that he hasn't got the chance yet.

“I have been busy shooting. But I've heard from a lot of people that it is very nice... I wish them all the best. I am very happy for (producer) Arbaaz, and everyone. I will catch up on the film soon,“ he concludes.
