Losing patience over delay in construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, govt should resolve matter before Dec 6: Sant Samiti urges Centre

The Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti congregation has urged the government to bring an ordinance to resolve the Ram Temple dispute.

Launching an attack on the government, spiritual leader Jagadguru Ramabhadracharya asked why isn't the union government doing anything on the issue, when an ordinance was brought by them on the Muslim practice of Triple Talaq.

"The community is losing patience now. All are our own people but when they behave like others, we feel astonished. They can bring an ordinance in Triple Talaq, but what is being done for us. It has been more than four years since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister. If at least he had visited Ayodhya once, we would have felt good. Now  our patience is wearing thin".

"We have to pressurise the government for bringing an ordinance. It doesn't matter if the government remains or not but Ram Temple has to be there. Before December 6, some honourable decision will be taken. Ram Mandir will be built in Ayodhya. There has to be two ways, either there can be an understanding for the construction of Ram Temple or an ordinance has to be brought".

Lashing out at the Supreme Court and central government he said; "we can tolerate no more insult. Now it is time to stop giving call for peace and let there be revolution".

Earlier on October 29, the apex court had adjourned the Ayodhya title suit till next year to fix a date for the hearing.

Earlier on Saturday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured  supporters that the people's sentiments on the construction of Ram temple will be taken forward soon after Diwali. Speaking at a poll rally in Rajasthan's Bikaner, BJP's star campaigner urged supporters to light a lamp in the name of Lord Rama this Diwali as the 'works shall begin soon'.

CM Adityanath told the public rally that the public determination on the issue will make the task easier.
