An explosion rocked Assam's Guwahati today. The blast was reported from Guwahati's Zoo Road. According to unconfirmed reports, it is believed to be a grenade blast which took place outside a mall in central Guwahati.
As per inputs trickling in, six people are said to be injured in the blast. However, no loss of life has been reported so far. Those injured have been referred to Guwahati Medical College Hospital.
Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off. Heavy security is present at the spot.
